Bentley Continental GT
The Continental GT made its debut in Paris in 2002 and went into production in the following year. This model’s name corresponds to its famous predecessors from the years 1952–66. The 4-seat coupe, designed in Bentley’s own styling centre, is powered by the 12-cylinder W12 Volkswagen engine. With a 6-liter capacity and two turbo-chargers, it delivers a power of 560 hp and a maximum speed of 318 km/h. The torque is transferred to four wheels via a 6-speed Tiptronic transmission (with a manual shifting option) and through an inter-axle Torsen differential. Handling for such a powertrain is provided by electronic traction control and braking systems as well as by a pneumatic multi-link chassis with variable characteristics that changes its parameters in accordance to driving conditions. The interior of the car is finished with natural leather and precious wood.
